Stelios K. StylianidesMr Stelios Stylianides graduated from La Salle University of Chicago, USA. He founded our office in 1980, having previously worked for other offices.Mr Stylianides has a long experience in virtually all kinds of litigation and he has been involved in court proceedings and appeals before all courts in Cyprus and the British Sovereign Bases. During his long career he has handled numerous cases, including shipping claims, employment disputes, intellectual property, landlord and tenant, international trade, personal injury, negligence, breach of contract and commercial claims. What he singles out as a memorable point in his career is his involvement in the case of Papadopoulou v. Rapti (1996), where he successfully argued for the unconstitutionality of the Preservation of Old and Historic Buildings Law before a full bench of the Supreme Court of Cyprus.He is very experienced in all areas of Corporate Law and he is the acting secretary and legal adviser of a number of noticeable companies from all sectors of the industry.
